Abstract: The rapid urbanization and economic development at local, regional and global level has led to several environmental and ecological crises. On this background it becomes essential to adopt the system of the Green Campus for the institute which will lead for sustainable development.Green Audit can be defined as systematic identification, quantification, recording, reporting and analysis of components of environmental diversity. The ‘Green Audit’ aims to analyze environmental practices within and outside the college campus, which will have an impact on the eco-friendly ambience. The aim of this project is to make a standard format for getting the score in the green audit. To achieve the objectives of this project certain standard methodology was followed. Firstly analysis of existing green audit scenario was studied and drawbacks in that system were fined out. After that for development of new rating system study areas were find out. These study areas includes Waste generation and management, Water and wastewater management, energy audit, Institutional research towards environmental protection. After that credits will be given to each study areas according to the importance. Then Questionnaire survey will be carrying out for validation of rating system. After that implementation of rating system will be carry.
