Abstract: Concrete is most widely used all over world as construction material .The reaction of the water and Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) results in hydration products, which intact in form of adhesive in cement paste together form of hardened cement. The increased in generation of industrial waste were it is used in landfilling. This waste concerns to be paid more attention to dispose, recycling and reuse of waste which has verse impact on the environment. From that all the solid or liquid waste, slags generated at iron manufacture and steel manufacture units are in large quantities that why the management of this slag has become critical constituent. Also manufacturing of cement requires large amount of energy and also contributed in large amount of CO2 emission. This study describes the experimental study conducted by casting slag concrete samples prepared with tap water and magnetized water to study the impact of magnetic water on the compressive strength of concrete which contained ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBS). The ground granulated blast furnace slag use in proportions of 0 % to 70 % by partial replacing cement in concrete. Also, the replacing normal water with magnetic water results showed are encouraging one. The durability of concrete developed was tested for sulfuric acid and elevated temperature.
