Abstract: days, GFER (glass fiber Epoxy resin) composites is highly used in manufacturing industrial sector specially Swimming pool lining, building panel, car bodies, aircraft, aerospace, and automobile industries due to their good thermal and mechanical properties like more specific strength, better modulus of elasticity, corrosion resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient & more damping capacity. The understanding of machining behaviour of ERGF in traditional machining process. Drilling is widely used to assemble the components in aforementioned industries. But machining of these composites is dissimilar to conventional metals due to their isotropic nature and in-homogeneity. Major drawbacks of these composites in machining are fiber pull out, delaminating and burring of fibers.it is important to process parameter optimization mainly for drilling operation is mostly depended on cutting parameters like feed rate, diameter of drill, tool geometry, workpiece, material, speed, delamination of fiber along with thrust force and Surface roughness. Multi-response optimization GRA process of opting the best suitable alternative among all the options available. Optimization of machining parameters is done to improve the product quality, as well as its productivity. In quality control purpose we used experimentation strategy of Taguchi orthogonal configuration.
