Abstract: In our country, road condition plays a very important role. Well Maintained road contributes the country’s economy. If roads are not in good condition then it is responsible for happening accidents. Now, the Road condition is a major problem due to the poor quality of surface and movement of vehicles with goods. Many factors are responsible for accidents that are potholes, humps and traffic problems. So, detection of potholes and humps on the roads is important. The sensor is used to find depth and height of potholes and humps respectively. The global positioning system is used to find location coordinates of potholes and humps on the road. The sensor data and geographic location are stored in the database. This database helps to assist drivers as well as respective authorities. This database is also useful in rainy season .The proposed system gives an alert to the driver in the form of a flash message with voice using android application. The proposed system can avoid accidents and save many lives.
