Dome is one of the most e cient structure for the larger area which can be con- struct without interruption of columns. Modeling and analysis is one the criti- cal part for these type of complex structures.Dome structure already developed throughout world but still it has large scope to develop in the India. Ribbed dome, Schwedler dome, lamella dome, diamatic dome, geodesic dome these are some types of domes but geodesic dome is one of e cient dome. Some studies have been conducted on the response of these earthquake-prone structures, but due to its light weight, its seismic response has not been considered decisive in most of the world. In spatial structures we take the force of the wind as the dominant force, but in some cases, during severe earthquakes, the seismic force is taken as the dominant force.en_US
